Here how to build working Hackintosh properly working on zen 2 & zen 3 processor. Files and info on how to do this on and AMD system.

Latest all-AMD Gaming PC running macOS Catalina using OpenCore. You can make your own too!

you need to install python 3.8 downloads and install before step below and also

*CORRECTIONS AND SUGGESTIONS*

1. I included the DSDT.aml file by accident—this is not needed

2. I included IntelMausiEthernet.kext. AMD systems only work with 211-AT - http://snazzy.fm/lth41

3. When editing your config.plist file, use the search function in ProperTree to ensure the following: (a) EC SSDT is set as "true," (b) Navi cards require the following boot arguments: [debug=0x100 agdpmod=pikera] (do not include brackets), (c) if you have a black screen after volume selection, make sure ProvideConsoleGOP is set to true. 4. Just about every other problem conceivable can be found here.

Read/check it thoroughly. http://snazzy.fm/d9RC8

Hackintosh machines are often considered unreliable by those who don't know what they're doing or haven't done due diligence on building their own configuration file. In this video tutorial coming soon, Tekkies Repair will show you how to make your own AMD Hackintosh using the OpenCore bootloader.

PU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X (Successful)
Motherboard: Asus X570 TUF Gaming Plus (Wifi) (bio setting have to be correct or will not work - use default and few other need changing)
RAM: Tridentz neo DDR4 32GB 3600Mhz C16
HDD: Several SSDs including Samsung NVME 967 EVO plus 240gb (Apple osx drive), sab rocket gen 4 500 ssd (Windows drive)

USB : 3.1
GPU: MSI Vega 64 oc 8gb
Sound: Motherboard ( AppleALC, layout 1 or 2 )
Sleep: does not work (fixed kext)
Monitor: apple pro 24"
Bootloader: OpenCore 0.5.5
Bluetooth: IOGear Bluetooth dongle BT 4.0
Wifi: TP-Link Archer T9E 802.11AC AC1900
OS: Catalina 10.15.3,  Windows 10
System Definition: iMacPro1,1 also ran MacPRo3,1 (worked better but only 1 ram stick)

--------

Kexts
- AmdcpuMonitor.kext
- FakeSMC
- AppleALC.kext
- AppleMCEReporterDisabler.kext: needed to prevent panic does not need with 10.5.3 and iMacPro1,1 system definition
- Lilu.kext
- RealtekRTL8111.kext (although I use WiFi but I can connect to Ethernet when needed)
- WhateverGreen.kext

What's working

  • Hardware acceleration / Metal
  • Bluetooth / LAN Working
  • Intel Bluetooth was working out of the box, but I heard after installing Windows and updated the firmware, it stopped working reliably in macOS. So I reverted back to dongle
  • Audio works with AppleALC. I tried alcid=1 or alcid=2 in boot args, both work
  • iCloud / iMessage works OOB
  • RAM can run at 3600Mhz
  • Monitoring Vega 64 oc 8gb, fan speeds, SSD temperature
  • CPU monitoring: using FakeSMC, AmdCPUMonitor,

Not working

  • Wake/sleep. I tried to map USB and was able to hide on board Bluetooth and RGB Aura controller. Still cannot sleep [fix with hibernation.kext] .

Next Steps

Update
- Figured out how to monitor CPU
- The adopted latest patch to remove NullCPU based on Discord discussion
- Confirmed that I do not need AppleMCEReporterDisabler.kext on 10.5.3 and with iMacPro1,1 system definition

EFI download
- Note that you need to replace it with your own serial number etc. (see tool genSMBIOS file attached to get serial#)

We suggest make your own config file from scratch. Here tool to check your config file make sure it right https://opencore.slowgeek.com/
